Creating a Corner Bookmark:
This is a cute project! I used the olivia paper pack and A Sip stamp set. But it will work with whatever you have.
You will need :   Note: Colors I used are in ( ).
4 x 4 cardstock (barn red)
2 3/4 x 2 3/4 B&T Duo (smoothie polk a dot)
2 1/4 x 2 1/4 (barn red)
2 x 2 (col white)
1 1/2 x 3 3/4 B&T duo (multi color print)
scraps of col white for stamping/embossing. Inks: Barn red, Smoothie, and Versa Mark.. Clear & Gold embossing powder. Chocolate Chalk

On the 4 x 4 base, mark with a pencil, on each of three sides the 2 inch point.

Line up two of the marks on your paper scoring and score, then repeat for the other two marks.

Fold corners down.

Note: I added Barn Red ink to all the edges.
Line up your 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 B&T paper in the paper cutter and cut in half. (I used white in the photo because it showed up better in the picture)

Now the fun part! With the flaps to the BACK,  use glue or tape to attached one of the triangles you just made to the boolmark, and attach the 1 1/2 x 3 3/4 B&T duo below it, as shown below. (I inked the edges of the B&T paper with Barn Red also)
Now to stamp!!  Stamped the "aroma" in versa mark and emboss with clear powder, add "Time for Coffee" in Barn Red, then use cotton to chalk the embossed area to give it depth. Stamp the coffee cup in Smoothie on a scrap paper and cut out. For the spoon, stamp in versa mark & use gold powder to emboss, then cut out. Attach the the stamped 2 x 2 piece to the 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 piece and attach to the card as shown.
Flip the card over and folding down the corners and add double sided tape acoss the top, add the other triangle as shown below
Flip the card over and add the accents. I used foam tape to secure the coffee cup and add dimension. The bow and spoon were attached using the new small glue dots. And your done! Cute!

Back County Card

I love this card! It was quick and easy, using papers from the "Back Country" paper pack, stamps from "Lets Go Camping" & " Backwoods" stamp sets. Fun and simple!

Retiform Technique -

This is a fun project, I made this card for my Dads 84th birthday. You can use any stampset or color you think would look nice.
Ready??

Gather up your supplies. You will need:
Stamp set (I used Wonderful Friend, the June Stamp of the Month), blocks, ink pads ( I used black to stamp and Desert Sand for sponging), sticky notes & sponge.

For this card I used a 5 1/8 x 5 1/8 square of colonial white cardstock for the base.
Stamp you focus point in the center of the card. I used the "dad" stamp, and stamped with black ink.

Then use sticky notes to form a frame around the stamped image. Load your sponge with Desert Sand ink and sponge aournd the edges of the sticky note..

Heres what it looked like when I removed the sticky notes.

Create a new shape (can use any shape) with sticky notes as a mask. Be sure to lay the sticky note over the side of your already sponged image. Place the sticky note right up to the edge of the sponging  to give you nice lines in between each image. Stamp another image in black, letting some of it be masked off by the sticky notes.

Keep masking off shapes, stamping and sponging. ( Be sure to use clean sticky notes each time tho! If you don't you will mess up your card base)  After added several images, and sponging around the edges of the sticky note each time, your card will begin to take shape.

Heres what it looked like about half done. Don't forget to line up your sticky note right to the edge of the previously stamped image.

Heres the finsihed card. I used a darker cardstock as a mat, added a brad and metal pointer for interest before adding it to my 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card.

Thats It! Hope you enjoyed this and give it a try you will love the results.
